The flat looks out over beautiful gardens, and it’s close to shops and restaurants in a lovely little town. It’s in a beautiful building from 1600 and run by a very nice host and her husband. The breakfast we ordered was delicious, made with care and attention. Very well priced.

Don’t miss this place if you’re passing through. The seventeenth-century building has comfortable, stylish classic furnishings, plus a lovely living room and dining room available to guests at no charge. The cuisine is very good and very reasonably priced. Absolutely amazing!

The garden is gorgeous, and staying here felt like stepping into another world. The house dates to around 1650, with lots of rooms decorated in bright, playful themes. There’s a spiral staircase, so with heavy luggage I’d ask for a lower room. There are no fans or A/C, which isn’t surprising for an old house, but opening the windows brought in a lovely evening breeze. Breakfast came with orange juice and coffee, a few meats, lots of cheese, mostly soft, and a good selection of bread. Madame spoke enough English to answer all my questions. I loved my stay and would come back next time I’m in the area.

The rooms are clean and lovely, each decorated in a different antique theme. The keeper also puts together a special breakfast.
