Logis Hôtel Ar Milin

Dinner and breakfast were fine, as you'd expect at a Logis Hotel, and the location is superb. The staff were pleasant too. Still, we ended up in a room at The Hotel du Parc, about 250 meters from the main hotel, and it wasn't up to standard. The fittings were broken and everything felt very worn. Even an old, unrenovated B&B hotel would have been better, though this room was a little larger. It was a very quiet hotel, with hardly anyone staying or dining there. On a Friday night in September, I was surprised to see only five cars in the Parc car park and two in the main car park. I wouldn't consider coming back.

We needed somewhere to stop on our way down through France, and this suited us perfectly, especially with a dog. It's clean, the people are friendly, and the surroundings are incredible. The setting is lovely, though the style and decor may feel a bit old fashioned these days.

The rooms are quite small, but the location is good and the hotel itself is interesting. I loved the gardens, which feel refreshing and have different art exhibitions. Dinner was excellent. Amazing place, I'd definitely recommend a visit!
