The room was clean and comfortable enough, and having free parking was a big help on our drive. For the affordable price, it worked fine as a place to rest during a short road trip stop. There isn’t much around the hotel, with no shops or restaurants nearby, so it’s best to plan ahead. A simple, practical place for a night, and good value for what we paid.

The rooms were clean, nicely priced, and close enough for a walk into the Cite.

We found the rooms clean and the staff welcoming, and breakfast was good. Parking was free, which was handy. The area felt a bit industrial, though, with few restaurants nearby.

My bedroom was very clean, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the other guests who weren’t on a coach trip seemed to have very nice food. Our meal tasted nice, but I wanted something French and wasn’t allowed to have it, even though I offered to pay. The setting was nice for children, and dogs are welcome in the restaurant.

The staff were friendly, but the breakfast buffet kept running out of things and they seemed overwhelmed trying to restock it. It might be good value if you’re sharing a room with two or three people, or travelling on a package tour. As a solo traveller booking directly, I felt there were better choices. While I was at the hotel, I checked again and wondered, “Why on earth did I book this? Was everything else much more expensive?”
