Great value and a perfect location. It was very clean, and the owners are really friendly. I'll be back as soon as I can.

We had a relaxing weekend in a very quiet area, with spectacular views of the castle from our large, clean room. The host was lovely and welcomed us with suggestions for places to visit. The whirlpool tub is next to the window, so you can enjoy the view from there. A great choice for a relaxing weekend.

The room was magnificent and the view breathtaking, but renting a spa suite and finding no hot water was a terrible disappointment. Technical problems happen, of course, but with amenities like these, I'd expect everything to be checked before arrival. I received an apology and a promise of compensation. Still, after planning a special weekend focused on well-being, finding the jacuzzi empty and having to take a cold shower was a complete letdown.

The apartment was lovely, with three well-equipped bedrooms, and the rest of the house was well equipped too. There were quite a few rules to follow, though, with a €50 charge otherwise. Also, for anyone who's a bit squeamish, it's behind one of the cemeteries in Carcassonne.
