Breakfast felt like a real treat, with bread from an award-winning local baker, honey from their bees, and homemade jams. Our comfortable, lovely room was serviced every day, and Caroline gave us great recommendations for local activities and restaurants. She was a delight and did so much for us throughout our four-night stay. The setting is picturesque even in early spring. Passing through the gates into this idyllic place, we found a kind of peace that’s rare on vacation. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in summer. Thank you, Caroline and family, for being amazing hosts!

The only things I’d have liked were some authentic French cuisine on the evenings dinner was offered and a shared washing machine in the heat. Even so, it was an easy five-star stay, and we’ve talked about coming back next year. The landlady was so nice and friendly. Everything else felt perfect: a lovely room and little terrace, a nice pool with not too many mosquitoes, an outdoor kitchen, and a very secluded setting.

We’d love to return. The rooms were large, clean, and beautifully decorated, with easy parking, a hearty breakfast, and a wonderfully tranquil feel. Our hosts were welcoming and attentive and made sure everything was just right. Such an idyllic spot in the peaceful countryside. Highly recommended.

The landlady was extremely friendly, and we enjoyed the food as well as the lovely room and garden. There’s a relaxing swimming pool, and the quiet setting is well placed for driving to the area’s lovely villages. We’ll definitely be back!

For us, the highlights were the peace and quiet, clean beautiful rooms, healthy breakfasts, and a great price. It’s close to fabulous cities, and Caroline and her family are lovely hosts. Plus there are white ponies, dogs, and cats. This is the place for you if that sounds good! Kirk and Karen
