The bedroom and bathroom were clean and everything worked, though both were very small. The breakfast was good, but some hot options would have made it better. The family-run Belalp has a lovely lounge and bar, plus great facilities including a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. It’s in a great location. We’ve just had a lovely week in Chatel and I’ll be back.

We’d certainly come back. The hotel is perfectly placed for the village and gondola station, and we had no complaints. The food was amazing, with a big buffet breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful in every way. This is a professionally run family hotel, and our room was spotless and well equipped. It was small, but the balcony at the back meant no road noise. Perfect.

We’ve stayed here twice now and would happily come again. The place is cozy and peaceful, and both the Trincaz family and the staff are exceptionally attentive. The food is excellent too. A highlight was having fondue and raclette at the same dinner.

The hotel is in a very good spot, and the cleaning staff were courteous. The owner and her son were welcoming, always available, and attentive. I’d choose a room facing the mountains, even at the higher price, because the street-facing side is quite noisy.
