We came back from long days on the slopes to clean, cosy, comfortable rooms and a very convenient location. Hotel Castellan has beautiful views, easy access to the village, and good connections to the ski pistes. I stayed for a weekend with around 10 colleagues, and we all had a fantastic time. Breakfast and dinner were included, and both were delicious and generous, just what we needed after skiing. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with, making us feel welcome throughout. We fell in love with Châtel and the hotel, and would highly recommend it. We’re already looking forward to returning, with family or friends. Thank you, Hotel Castellan, see you again soon!

My adult son and I stayed six nights in adjoining rooms and had a lovely, comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is fairly central in Chatel, with a short uphill walk to the village center. We found the breakfast worth adding: good quality, plentiful, and good value. There were boiled eggs and plump French Kiwi fruit, along with the usual cold meats, cheeses, and pastries. Lovely hotel, highly recommended.

A lovely family-run hotel with good food. The bus station and cable car are only a short walk away.

The restaurant has classic furnishings, and it’s clean and welcoming. The food is great, with plenty of extras on the table. Staff are very friendly and do their best to keep everyone happy, even when the place is fully booked. We always feel welcome.

We had a wonderful New Years holiday at Le Castellan. The rooms were clean, full of character, and made us feel almost like we were staying with family. The hotel has a relaxed, homely feel. The food was amazing at every meal, with plenty of lovely local produce, just right after skiing and breathing the fresh mountain air. The family are warm and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile, and work hard to make guests’ stays a pleasure. A real treat that made our holiday special.
