We stayed when Sunweb was managing the place, and I wouldn't recommend going then. Getting to the better lifts for Les Portes du Soleil was difficult: they're at least a 25 minute walk, while the morning buses filled up, ran inconsistently and got caught in traffic. One day we waited more than 2 hours to reach a lift. Sunweb's required ski rental shop is a 20 minute walk away even though there's a shop next door, so don't rent through them. Food was poor too, with what seemed like reheated frozen meals and no fresh produce. At raclette, most potatoes were undercooked and some vegetables were still frozen. The baguettes, including those used for lunch sandwiches since no lunch is served, were low quality and badly baked. Breakfast had very few choices, and dinner offered just 2 options that were rarely satisfying and left little choice for anyone with food restrictions. It felt like management was cutting costs on food and inexperienced, cheap staff. Many staff came from countries with some of the lowest wages in the EU region. I have nothing against their nationalities, and the staff were nice, but they were clearly very young and lacked experience.
