La Perdrix Blanche

We had good food, a sunny terrace, and a perfect location. Yesterday’s apres-ski was a blast!

After avoiding this place for food on my visits to Chatel over the past 30 years, I finally ate here again and regretted it. The food was terrible, as usual, though the desserts are good. With no restaurant competition, there’s no quality at the bottom of the run.

The food was amazing all week, and the service was quick. There are daily specials worth checking out. It is expensive, but the convenience and quality worked for our family. It was the kids’ first ski holiday, so we stuck to the magic carpet, green runs, and fun. This place is close to all of that. Enjoy ♥️

I’m only reviewing the restaurant for winter lunch, not the hotel or dinner. It’s a large self-service place, and it can still be crowded. The food is mostly familiar fast-food fare like spaghetti, lasagna, sausage and fries. There are a couple of salads for a healthier choice, but not many surprises. Service moves quickly, so you usually aren’t waiting long, unless the line stretches outside, which I’ve seen sometimes. There’s an indoor bar area too, where you can get just a coffee without joining the restaurant queue. Prices reflect the excellent location and feel a bit high, even for this area.
