The owners gave us plenty of useful tips for sightseeing in Alsace, and we ended up having a great holiday. The hotel itself is a beautiful heritage property in a lovely town. We arrived late but the staff still greeted us warmly and did their best to make our stay a good one. Parking beside the hotel was free. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the magnificent staircase has lots of delightful historic details. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast in the pleasant on-site restaurant. It’s a great place for families: our children loved the hotel, and we had a unique experience learning about its history and practicing French. Thank you!

Loved every minute here. The inn is warm and attentive, with a super comfortable bed and amazing views. It’s such a charming, cozy place in the heart of dreamy Chatenois, pretty all around.

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and the food was excellent. I’d recommend eating here. Our dog was welcome without any fuss, which suited us since the owners are dog lovers too. The room and bathroom were squeaky clean. The bathroom was tiny, but had everything we needed and worked well, especially the shower. The bedroom was a decent size for my wife, me, and our dog, with enough furniture to be comfortable. The bed was large and comfortable. The hotel is quaint in its own way. The shared areas feel traditional, while our room was modern and comfortable. We were on the second floor, so the stairs were a bit hard for my wife, who had hurt her foot, though they’re wide and easy to access. The whole experience felt very welcoming.
