Au Foudre du Bazois

Madame Vin was so warm and helpful, and quick to respond whenever needed. We had a lovely stay at Le Foudre du Bazois. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. I'd happily recommend it.

Breakfast was a pleasure, with good-quality products, and the food at other meals was simple but really tasty and good value. The Chablis was nicely balanced, just right for sharing. We were made to feel at ease straight away, thanks to the cheerful welcome and just the right amount of humor. A relaxing place that's well worth visiting.

Stéphanie looked after things throughout our wedding while still giving us space, which made the whole occasion feel magical. We loved the flower-filled garden for the cocktail hour, the beautiful hall for dinner and the reception, and the guest rooms for all our guests. Everything was perfect.

Breakfast is made with excellent local products, and the evening light meals are a welcome option too. Our host was delightful, full of energy and kindness, and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The gîte is gorgeous, with a lovely terrace and a huge, attractive room on the ground floor. Upstairs, the spacious bedrooms are beautifully decorated and each has its own bathroom. There's secure storage for bikes as well. I'll find a reason to come back, and I highly recommend the place.
