Hôtel Le Panoramic

I travel a lot, and this is the first time I've come across hotel staff doing something this dishonest. While using a guest's phone to point out local attractions, reception staff post fake five-star reviews on the guest's behalf. Incredibly poor conduct.

The views around the place are nice, though it's far from any village or trails. Room 1 is right by the entrance, between reception and the parking lot, so people passed our window all day and night. We heard every car coming and going, along with everything the receptionist said. The room was small and very basic, but clean, and breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. We only ended up here because we hadn't planned ahead and booked a nice B&B. It's an OK stop on the way, but make sure they don't put you in room 1. When we called to book, they said it was the last room and didn't mention where it was.

After a long hike, the outdoor cold pool was a welcome way to cool off, and there are games like table tennis and table football to pass the time. The rooms have a high-quality interior and a really nice view. The location is panoramic, the breakfast was splendid, and the staff were very polite and helpful.

With a car, this place is perfect. The rooms are clean and pleasant, especially the ones facing the mountains, and the decor feels modern and recent. There's also a nice buffet breakfast and a swimming pool, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our only issue was getting to the village center, 800m away: the walk follows a busy road with no pedestrian area, and cars go quite fast.
