The owners were really friendly, and the pool area was clean and pleasant. We had a lovely air-conditioned room looking out over the fields. It’s a remote spot, so it was quiet and peaceful, and everything worked properly, including the showers. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Breakfast was amazing, and the host who looked after us in the mornings was superb. There were four of us staying for three nights at this tucked-away, fairly isolated place, and we loved it. We’ll definitely come back.

The room was very basic and definitely not worth the price. It’s in the middle of nowhere, with no pubs or restaurants nearby, and we found it utterly boring. There were hornets everywhere, including inside the room. The owner had a chemical trap on the veranda, then emptied it into the dining-room bin, which smelled horrendous. That felt very unhygienic when food is prepared and served there. The owner also had a strong body odour, which wasn’t pleasant while eating breakfast. Both owners stood over us as we ate, and it felt very intimidating. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The welcome was warm, and breakfast was mostly homemade. It’s a magical, peaceful castle, with spacious, comfortable rooms and a large terrace beside a big swimming pool. The views were splendid. I highly recommend it.
