The village’s beautiful setting completes the charm, and we’re looking forward to the renovation plan. We’ll certainly be back either way. The accommodations show their age, but they’re clean and sensibly laid out. The warm welcome, good organization and helpful teams more than make up for that small drawback, which comes with the village’s venerable age.

The staff were professional and friendly, and I want to thank them again for their kindness. The setting is lovely, out in the countryside at the top of Chaudes-Aigues, but the accommodations are outdated and there’s no upkeep inside or out. What we paid doesn’t match the quality of the service at all. The photos of the accommodations on the VVF website are also very misleading.

The view from this absolutely stunning setting never gets old. The food was a real bonus too, simple meals served with a smile. The accommodation is a little dated, but it was clean and functional, and that didn't keep us from enjoying our holiday. We leave on Saturday, and before we go, we want to thank the whole VVF team. The reception and technical support staff were especially welcoming, available and quick to help, always in good spirits. That friendly atmosphere made all the difference. Thanks for a wonderful week, we’re leaving with fantastic memories!

We were very active during the trip, but the hikes need reviewing to make sure they're suitable for children. Check that the kids' club is open during the day, too. Otherwise, the trip isn't worth it.

We had a wonderful 15 days at the VVF village in Chaudes-Aigues. The manager was friendly and full of energy, and there were lovely hikes on offer. We also really enjoyed the outdoor pool. Thanks for everything!
