The gardens are superb, and there's plenty of parking. Inside, it feels like a proper house for a big group, with four en-suite twin rooms, a great lounge and a kitchen that's perfectly adequate. The woman running the place is a diamond. I've stayed in lots of houses in France, and this one ranks among the best. It's also just a seven-minute stumble from a lovely little town with bars and restaurants. Really good value.
8/10
I arrived at 10:30 PM as the only guest, and the landlady came herself to welcome me. She was very helpful with sorting out food for a late traveler, even though there wasn't any food at the property. The welcome was good. The location is good too, though getting there by car is a little odd. Breakfast was on the simple side and could be improved. Air conditioning in the rooms would be the main thing to add.

Wonderful!
10/10
The night was peaceful and restful, and the staff were kind and professional. The owner made a real impression too, cultured and elegant as well as very welcoming. We had fascinating conversations about history and culture during our stay at this charming château. Everything felt perfect, and we'd be happy to come back. Highly recommended.
10/10
We were five couples of friends gathering for a wedding reunion and stayed just one night. The château is lovely, surrounded by lush greenery. The owner welcomed us warmly and was very accommodating; her wisdom and love of nature came through. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the staff were discreet and efficient.
