That little grocery shop was a lovely surprise, packed with quality regional products. The apartment itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had excellent amenities. It's just minutes from the castle, which made for a very pleasant break.

Great place, really nice and quiet, with no obvious noise despite being quite close to the castle entrance and restaurants.

We loved having the outdoor space, which made the charming, clean accommodation feel like home. It's well located, and the owners were very friendly and quick to respond. The key box made arriving whenever we wanted easy. There was some road noise during the day, the only small downside, but evenings and nights were completely quiet.

Our hosts were attentive and helpful, and even lent us pliers when our bicycle had a mechanical problem. The quiet cottage is in a lovely setting and is beautifully decorated, so we slept well. The little breakfast basket was excellent, especially the delicious homemade jams. Thanks again! I'd happily return and recommend it.
8/10
The Japon apartment was clean, well equipped, and very well maintained. I did miss having a comfortable armchair, though, since there are only two high stools. It's up a hill on the road to the castle, so traffic can be heard, and earplugs may be useful. The main restaurant area and river are a bit of a walk away.
