Our hosts were amazing, and we learned so much. The castle is beautifully maintained and full of history and charm. Definitely worth staying!

So much care has gone into the details, from the exceptional furniture to the books and photos placed around the rooms. The place is charming and peaceful, with a lovely sense of the French Bourgeoisie's distinguished past in the 19th century.

The owners were welcoming and knew so much about the chateau's history. We really enjoyed staying here, and all the attention to detail made the historical significance of the place stand out. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Wow, what a gorgeous place. Sleeping here feels like spending the night in a luxury museum from the 19th century. I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll be back for sure.

The owners looked after us all weekend and gave us excellent advice. Their homemade jams deserve a special mention, original and delicious. We loved chatting over their homemade herbal teas in the Jules Verne flower bar. We had a fantastic, relaxing weekend and left feeling great. The sauna, multi-sensory shower, and excellent massage were all wonderful. We also took a historical and scientific tour and learned about Napoleon III's role here, among others. We'll definitely return for another break and to try the Nordic bath out in nature.
