The location was ideal, just 500 meters from the entrance to Chenonceau Castle and close to shops. Christelle welcomed us warmly and shared lots of useful tips about local restaurants and places to shop. The rooms were generous in size and suited our family of five well. Everything was clean and well equipped, with a modern, functional kitchen and bathroom. Our only small complaint was that the sofa bed's bedding wasn't entirely comfortable.

Dining in Chenonceau may be difficult if you arrive after 7:30 p.m., as there are no tables left. The loft was generally well equipped, with adequate bedding and a bathroom that was spacious enough. But on arrival there was a strong musty smell. The lighting was poor, and the windows and skylights were small. If you're over 6 feet tall, watch your head around the door frames and mezzanine ceiling.

We made the most of our relaxing family holiday, with our four children, thanks to this quiet, comfortable gîte. It has three separate bedrooms, tasteful decor, and exceptional bedding, which earned it five stars from us. The location in the heart of Chenonceaux was ideal for the Loire Valley châteaux and Beauval Zoo. We also enjoyed the cycle paths along the Cher River and went canoeing. It was a new region for us.

The owner gave us a very warm welcome, and the cottage was quiet, clean, and superbly equipped. Nothing was missing, and it was close to lots of tourist attractions. We had a wonderful family stay over the 4th of July weekend and will definitely come back. Christelle and the whole family.

We felt very welcome in this lovely, quiet, spacious cottage. Our only small drawback was the heating: we were cold, though we did rent it in December.
