Sure Hotel by Best Western Dijon Sud

The room was clean and spacious, with a nice shower. The bed was okay, though a bit stiff and small for my taste. We stayed here on our way to the south of France, and the location worked well for the trip. Noise from other guests was my main complaint. You could hear what was happening in the hallway quite clearly from the room. Not a bad place for one night.

We stopped here with my family while travelling from France to Switzerland. At first, the newly renovated room seemed cozy and a reasonable size, but we found a lot of problems over the night. The air conditioning didn't work, and the Wi-Fi in my room was extremely weak, almost nonexistent. The USB power circuit was broken, so we couldn't charge anything. The shower head was broken and sprayed water around the bathroom, leaving the floor wet and slippery afterward. There was no hand wash, just one small packet of body wash. The curtain was broken too, so outside light came into the room all night. We told reception about these issues, but they just said, “Sorry, but we can't do anything about it.” It was far from a pleasant stay.

We stayed one night in this strange place. The room had dated, mismatched decor and furniture, and an odd setup: there was a kettle stand, cups, coffee and so on, but no kettle. In the morning you had to go to reception and ask for hot water. The shower was over the bath with no curtain. The windows had shutters, which made us feel safe. Breakfast was adequate, and we were grateful to get an evening meal.

We stayed one night on the way to the south coast, and I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The basic room was as expected for the price. The air conditioning worked fine and wasn't noisy, but there was no kettle despite the coffee and tea bags. Breakfast was very poor. We got a refund because there simply wasn't any food: no bread, croissants, eggs, meat, or cheese. The tables hadn't been cleared and were in poor condition. The staff seemed young and inexperienced, so I don't blame them, but the place was very poorly run. The area also seemed quite run down.
