La Maison Canopée is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, both in the shared house and the rooms. It's 300 meters above sea level, with lovely views across the Indian Ocean. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace looking out at the ocean, and found it fairly priced. Being a little way up the mountain brought a refreshing breeze and fewer mosquitoes. Close to Saint Leu, it's a good base for activities to the north and south. Arno and Nadege were warm and welcoming, and helped us with suggestions and planning our island activities whenever we needed it. We had a wonderful stay and can definitely recommend it for a great island vacation.

The view is stunning, and the Indian Ocean is simply breathtaking. Our hosts were so pleasant, friendly and attentive, and breakfast was generous and reasonably priced. There are so many beautiful places to visit. It was an unforgettable stay, and we'll definitely come back someday. Thank you so much! 🥰
