The family-run feel gave the stay a really personal touch, and everyone was welcoming and very helpful. I was only there for one night, but found it comfortable. Breakfast worked well for us and what we needed.

The rooms were spotless, and the bed was comfortable enough for a really good night's sleep. Beauséjour has a lovely charm, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was a treat too, with quality local produce and perfect coffee. I'd happily recommend it for a stop in Cherbourg.

The staff were friendly enough, and the place is okay, but it really needs updating. I stayed in 1995 and came back in 2017, and not much had changed beyond fresh paint in the rooms. The stair carpets were still the same. The toilet is tiny, with my knees touching the door when I sit down. Knocking through the wall between the toilet and shower could make it roomier.

It's well situated and reasonably priced, and I like the old-fashioned layout. The place is quiet, the en suite is good, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The owner-manager is a genuinely sound guy. I'm happy with my stay.

The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, and it would be useful if the TV had internet access so you could watch programs in your own language. The toilet is too small; opening up the wall between it and the bathroom would help, since it isn't a supporting wall. I was here 22 years ago, and very little has changed. Still, it's okay for an overnight stay or a weekend, though the place needs updating.
