Cathy and Jean were wonderful hosts. They helped arrange our bike rentals in Dol de Bretagne and pointed out shortcuts back to the B&B before we set off for Mont St Michel. The nearby voie verte is a great bike path, and seeing Mt St Michel appear on the horizon from it was spectacular. The B&B is well placed for the trail, about a 15-minute drive from Cancale for its oysters and seafood, and convenient for day trips to St Malo and Dinan. We stayed at La Croix-Galliot for three nights in April 2015. There were four of us, with two rooms and private bathrooms on the second floor. The rooms were bright and extremely clean, the beds very comfortable, and the bathrooms spacious and spotless. Breakfast was served each morning in a large glass-enclosed porch. There was plenty of homemade bread and cake, plus delicious jams and fresh fruit. The B&B was full, but we weren’t bothered by noise or felt crowded at breakfast. The caravan sleeps four and was very clean, as were the shared areas. It’s a quiet, shady, green site with just six pitches, and it’s well placed for exploring the area. Good value and a very nice place to stay. It could use two or three more utensils for four people.

We especially enjoyed breakfast in the veranda overlooking a lovely garden, with sheep as a bonus. There’s also a kitchen and lounge area set aside for guests. Jean-Michel and Kathi gave us a very warm welcome and useful tips on restaurants and things to do. It’s an ideal base for visiting mont St Michel and the surrounding area, and a great find for exploring pays Gallo.

We had a lovely weekend here. It’s a peaceful place, not far from Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo, and the two hosts were very welcoming. They’re proud of their region and keen to share it. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. A lovely place for a family or a couple.

The owners gave us a warm welcome and helpful advice, and breakfast was generous, served in the veranda. The guesthouse is clean and friendly, and it’s well placed for visiting Dinard Bay and Mont Saint-Michel. No complaints at all, highly recommended.
