The host made us feel very welcome, and the place was lovely and quiet. If you're looking for somewhere remote in the countryside, this is it.

We stopped here while travelling on 30 June 2018. The welcome was warm, and breakfast was lovely. Completely delightful, and I'm happy to recommend it.

The shared bathrooms were spotless, so they weren't a concern at all. Breakfast was generous, with breads and pastries, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, butter, jam, fresh juice and fruit, coffee and tea, and you could have as much as you liked. There was water, tea and coffee available during the day too, and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, plates and cutlery you need. Our room felt restful, with water, sweets, slippers, bathrobes and towels provided; sheets, pillows and a duvet were included at no extra charge. Le Troubadour is a peaceful, clean and welcoming place if you want to get away. The hosts were friendly and looked after us with real care and discretion. The rustic surroundings were quiet, with no trucks or other noise, just birdsong. Dogs are welcome and can be off-leash if they're well behaved. There's also a lounge with books and board games, plus a TV room. We'll be back!

We had a great weekend. The owner of the estate was very charming, and breakfast was excellent.
