Those two little terraces were perfect for quiet evenings, and the gîte had everything we needed, all laid out to make guests comfortable. We spent five nights at Gîte de la Comète and loved the charming place. Sylvie was so kind and friendly, and we had a great time with her adorable cats too. Many thanks to her. We'd be very happy to come back as soon as we can.

Chinon Fortress is only a five-minute walk, and the historic centre is about ten minutes away. We also enjoyed the garden, griddle and barbecue, and the local wine and cheese producers are worth a visit. Azay-le-Rideau Castle is a 25-minute drive and highly recommended. The little place was cosy and tastefully decorated, with a warm welcome and excellent bedding worthy of a grand Parisian hotel. A fantastic three-day weekend that has us wanting to return. Best wishes, Christelle & Robin. PS: Give Romy a gentle pat.

The garden was magnificent, and the cottage is ideally placed in Chinon, a little slice of paradise. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time. Thanks for such a warm welcome. We'll be back.

We loved this fantastic cottage. Sylvie gave us such a warm welcome and added thoughtful touches, and the garden is beautiful. It's also perfectly located for exploring Chinon.
