The garden was lovely, and we wished we could have stayed longer. We had a warm welcome in a charming house, and the bathroom was especially spacious. The food was excellent, with an exotic touch from our Brazilian hostess. I also really enjoyed talking with our host, who knows a lot about history. His stories from his time as an airline pilot were fascinating too.

Dinner was a real treat, such a delicious meal and a whole culinary experience. The hosts made us feel so welcome, and we had a lovely evening together. The house itself is charming, with rooms that are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully done. We had an unforgettable stay at Le Merger Farm. Thanks again for everything, we’ll definitely come back!

We’re still taking it all in. The weekend was a unique experience, and it’s hard to put into words. Claude shared fascinating stories, from French and European history to genetics, Netflix documentaries, and Brazil. His knowledge and phenomenal memory were striking. He’s optimistic, kind, open-minded, curious, and keen to share what he’s learned, including life experiences and advice about education and places to travel. The house has so much old-world charm, with exposed beams and a fireplace. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend there. Sueli was also wonderful, serving exquisite Brazilian food with distinctive flavors in the appetizer, main course, and dessert. She set the dinner and breakfast tables beautifully, with tasteful tableware. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh products and a wide selection. Thank you both for everything. We hope to see you again for a longer stay, perhaps on a Friday so we can try the fish dish you mentioned 🐟.

Claude welcomed us so warmly, and I loved how he shared his culture and knowledge with such passion. The hostess’s exotic cooking was divine, and breakfast was sumptuous, with so much to choose from. A truly delightful stay!

The Franco-Brazilian hosts are such a pleasure to meet, so charming and welcoming. We stayed one night in their lovely renovated farmhouse. Claude joined us for dinner with the other couples, and I really enjoyed chatting with him. He’s open-minded, cultured, and very interesting. Of course we’ll be back :)
