It was an okay stay. The apartment was clean, but could use some refreshing. It was missing a few amenities, like a kettle, and the pillows were quite flat, so more of them would have helped. Puy du Fou is about 20 minutes away.

It’s a really nice place, with very good breakfast and parking at the back.

The staff were friendly, which was the one bright spot. When I arrived, after showering, I noticed that several supposedly clean towels had gray and yellow stains. The next morning, the cleaner made the room and left without locking the door. Yes, even in 2026, some hotels still have mechanical locks that don’t lock automatically. There’s no code to enter the hotel, either. Anyone can walk right in. Luckily, I hadn’t left anything valuable in the room. When I returned that evening, the parking lot was full, so I had to leave my car on the sidewalk. There are far fewer spaces than rooms. For a three-star hotel, the place is pretty run-down. The likely “investments” over the last 15 years seem to have been tape and quick cover-ups. The fitness room is just a few machines dumped in a disused room. I’ve never seen such a miserable three-star hotel in my life.
