We were two adults and one child, staying for four days and three nights, August 16-19 2025, for a trip to Puy du Fou. The residence was new, quiet, comfortable, and relaxing, in a residential area away from a busy road. We’d happily stay here again, though it isn’t a convenient base for visiting the park. The main drawback is the drive. It takes about 30 minutes each way without traffic, but traffic is already heavy in the morning and again on the return, which becomes a nightmare. Noces du Feu ends around 10:45pm, so we got back around midnight. Cinéscénie finishes at midnight, meaning you may not reach the hotel until about 1:30am. You’ll need a lot of patience. If you’re booking for Puy du Fou, I’d look for somewhere closer to the park or one of the hotels inside it to avoid some of that stress. The secured parking lot is small and costs 3 euros per day. Since we tended to arrive late, it was always full; one night we had to use the disabled space. We didn’t try parking outside because we’d paid for a space, though parking outside is definitely possible. Our unit was technically a one-bedroom apartment with a balcony, air conditioning, and a TV. The living-room sofa converts to a bed for two. The kitchenette had a good-sized fridge, microwave, induction cooker, coffee maker, and electric kettle, but no oven or dishwasher. There were pots, pans, a chopping board, and a colander, but no spatula or other cooking utensils, so bring those if you plan to cook. The cups, glasses, and plates seemed suitable for four people at most. There were two new pillows and linens for the extra bed in the cabinet behind the door, along with brooms and clothes hangers. Clean towels were provided, though they weren’t changed daily. I don’t know whether daily changes were available because we didn’t ask. The kitchen had a large bottle of dishwashing liquid, a tea towel, sponge, and microfiber cloth. In the shower and toilet area, there was hair and body wash, plus hand soap by the sink. All the reception staff were lovely and friendly, and even the housekeeping staff spoke English. Thanks to the hardworking housekeeper. On arrival, we only saw one person who had tidied our unit. We’d read that the residence also caters to seniors, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We didn’t see any seniors in the corridors during our stay, just two older people in reception.
