The bed was fine and there weren’t any real noise issues or other problems. I only stayed one night, and picking up the key went smoothly. The room was quite cold, but had the basics. The shower water did get hot, thankfully, after it had been running for a while.
The rooms have a gorgeous view, and the location is good. The staff were very friendly.
Love at first sight, I fell for this place. It’s clean, feels like home, and is in a nice spot. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I had a thrilling experience there with my love. Keep up the good work, all the best.
The welcome felt just as warm and friendly as the accommodation itself. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with a lovely view. There’s parking, a TV, breakfast, and a terrace too. More comfortable than you might expect from a gîte, and I highly recommend it.
The location is peaceful, with a lovely view of Piton des Neiges and the surrounding area, yet Cilaos amenities are close enough to reach on foot. We left the car in the gîte’s secure parking. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with impeccable bedding and fresh smelling linen. Staff are pleasant, and Valerie is always smiling and welcoming. Meals are available on site by reservation, and they’re good. I recommend the Fouquet or Chrysalides gîte 100%. I’ve never been disappointed.
