Cilaos itself is so quaint, and we really loved it. This was a delightful find: the owner was lovely and very helpful, and our room was spacious with lovely surroundings. The hotel is quiet, safe, and clean, right in the center. Parking was easy, and the gate locks at night, so it felt secure. A great place for one night or several. Cilaos is stunning!

My wife and I stayed here in May this year and had a great time. Otroiza hotel is perfectly placed as a base for exploring this magical spot, a very special town in the middle of the Island. Our host was responsive and communicative, and used Google Translare to help with everything we needed. Thankyou!

The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast was good. There’s private parking on site, and the hotel is very clean and well furnished. It’s a lovely little place in the heart of Cilaos, close to all the hiking spots. We only wished the windows had mosquito nets. Recommended!

The owners are very hospitable and the rooms are comfortable. Wi-Fi is slow, but it does work in the rooms. If you get a balcony room, you can see the mountains and waterfalls in the distance.

No air conditioning, but the rooms stay cool. They’re spacious and quiet, with good beds and Wi-Fi that’s fast enough. Speed was 10/1 Mbit.
