Dinner and breakfast were better than we expected, and the warm welcome made the stop on our way home to the Netherlands after our Italy holiday feel really special. The building and garden are beautiful. Our daughters, who are 4 and 8, thought the stay was straight out of a fairytale and felt like princesses. Thank you Günter!

We didn't stay there, but the prices advertised seemed so out of touch with the local reality that I felt it was worth saying something. At those rates, this is closer to a luxury guesthouse than an affordable place to stay, and it seems aimed at wealthy guests. Local people simply can't afford it. It's a shame, because the original spirit of guesthouses, welcoming, local, and accessible, seems lost here. A traveler from Lorraine on a bike…😊

He brought a sparkle to our eyes, our taste buds, and our hearts. Gunther is such a warm, passionate host, and his kindness made this an unforgettable experience. A thousand thanks for a wonderful time!

French isn't necessary, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The host made sure everything felt carefree. It's a wonderful property, with a breathtaking garden where people and their furry companions can wander freely.

The food from our host was a lovely finishing touch to our stay at Masion Mazerand, a venerable manor house. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back =)
