The pool looked lovely, and the breakfast had local products with everything you need to get the day going. Our room was close to the horses' stable 😍 and, surprisingly, stayed really cool despite having no air conditioning. It was a lovely little B&B with a restaurant, though the restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays. The bathroom was nice and spacious.

The countryside setting is great for biking or hiking, and the late check-in worked fine since we’d told the owner and the key was left somewhere easy to find. The rooms were okay, nothing special, and our daughter found a few dead bugs in hers. We had a kettle and instant coffee, but a small fridge with water and a coffee maker would have been welcome. There were only two glasses and coffee cups, even though we’d said there would be three of us. Breakfast was okay, though I missed having cereal or homemade scrambled eggs. €130 for three seemed reasonable, but the room and service unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations.

Breakfast was good and plentiful, with bread, cheese, ham, and more. The rooms are clean and tidy, in a splendid converted barn, and the location is rural. The 5:30 pm check-in was frustrating, though. We arrived at 4:45 after a 10-hour drive, but everything was locked and nobody was around. The owners clearly don’t live on site, and someone came to let us in at 5:30. Also, be ready for dogs and dog poo.

A great spot to stop halfway between Catalonia and the St Malo ferry, and the food was great too.
