Les Séchoirs

A lovely place, and the owners are so friendly!

We felt at home straight away thanks to Frank and Denise's hospitality, and had a wonderful holiday. The gite was clean and fully equipped, with fresh towels each day and clean sheets once a week. My husband could fish from his private jetty and use a motorboat, right on the property. We also enjoyed the grounds. The pool and play barn are shared with other guests, but that didn't cause us much inconvenience. I especially appreciated being able to wash and dry laundry there. We brought our dog and cat: the dog could roam and explore freely, while the cat was content on a lead in the garden. The owners live on site, so it was easy to ask questions or get help. We enjoyed it so much that we're coming back for two weeks this year.

We spent the week fishing on the Lot and caught plenty of different fish, including catfish, chub, bream, sunfish, barbel, black bass, and giebel. The fishing piers are lovely places to sit, and there's a Carrefour Express just 300 meters away for baguettes and groceries. Frank and Denise showed us around when we arrived and explained everything clearly. They're very hospitable and helpful. Our six-person gite was clean and extremely well equipped. Five stars don't feel like enough, and we'd like to thank them for their hospitality and wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation.

The gite lived up to our expectations, with a well-equipped living room and kitchen, a spacious bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a lovely terrace by the house. There's an even bigger terrace and a deck by the water, a great place to fish, and use of a small motorboat is included. The garden is beautiful, and I enjoyed the swimming pool. There's also a large shed with things for rainy days, plus a washer and dryer. Bakeries, the supermarket, and charming towns to visit are close by. Denise and Frank gave us a warm welcome and a tour, a lovely start to the holiday. We can recommend this place to everyone.
