We left Château Marith with wonderful memories of our wedding, especially the day itself. The team was professional, responsive, and discreet, and they quickly sorted out a minor issue with the beer tap that afternoon, before the ceremony. The aperitif was delicious. Staff had also prepared a thoughtful platter for us, with a sample of every cocktail-hour course. Dinner was excellent and served on time, and brunch the following day went down very well. We found the lead-up to the wedding less personal. Communication was often by email, and as first-time event planners, a few more phone calls would have made us feel better supported. The price lists clearly mentioned extra costs, but we hadn't realized that wording like "prices subject to change" or "service hours included" would very likely bring additional charges. These included a 10% increase between calendar years, extra service time during dinner, and hiring a small refrigerated truck for our wine and champagne. It wasn't unusual, but future couples may want to keep it in mind. Despite that, we had a superb day and fond memories of the experience. Thanks to everyone at Château Marith!

The owner’s really welcoming, and he’s happy to chat. Bring up cars, beer, or wine and you’ll see what I mean. The setting is peaceful, and my standard room was quiet with a view of the garden. The food was excellent too, especially the evening meal and that delicious savory breakfast. Highly recommended.

After a long, very hot day cycling, we found exactly the rest we needed at Chateau Marith. The room was magnificent, with a comfortable bed and a view over the fairytale park and its majestic old trees. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our stay was unfortunately short, but it was a wonderful experience in a magical place full of history. A huge thank you to you all!
