Château Marith

The wedding day itself was a huge success. The team at Château Marith were professional, discreet, and quick to respond. They even fixed a small problem with the beer tap that afternoon, before the ceremony. The aperitif was delicious, and they had thoughtfully put together a platter for us with a taste of every cocktail-hour course. Dinner came out on time and was excellent, and brunch the next day was a hit as well. We came away with lovely memories of the day. Planning beforehand was the one less smooth part. Since we were new to organizing an event like this, email conversations could feel impersonal, and a few more calls would have helped us feel better supported. The price lists did spell out the extra costs, but we hadn't understood that notes like "prices subject to change" and "service hours included" would probably mean further charges. Those included a 10% increase from one calendar year to the next, extra service time during dinner, and renting a small refrigerated truck for our wine and champagne. Nothing out of the ordinary, but something future couples should be aware of. Even with that, the day was superb, and we're very grateful to the whole team at Château Marith.

We all had a wonderful time at our network meeting this weekend. It's a beautiful property, and the gentleman who runs it is very friendly.

So quiet and tucked away in the countryside. The rooms have an old-fashioned charm, are tastefully furnished, and still come with useful things like Wi-Fi and a TV.

I can only say bravo. The seminar went really well. I stayed in the castle, and loved the room, the decor, and the setting. 👍
