Tiny Stay Ecolodge

Breakfast was excellent, and I’d highly recommend this sweet little stay in the woods. Even with its small size, the place is well equipped, and the kitchen was practical enough for us to make a simple dinner. Indoor slippers and wine glasses would be nice additions :)

With fewer than 10 cabins, it’s very small and wonderfully quiet. Trees overhead, ferns and plants all around, just the kind of place to switch off. We came as two adults with one child and two dogs, carrying food for the night, but there was plenty on offer too. We didn’t spot the little carts for taking bags to the accommodation when we arrived, though it’s less than 30 seconds from the car park. NO Wi-Fi!!! Such a lovely experience, highly recommended.

We booked directly and got no check-in details, so we had to chase them and wait around before reaching our lodge. We’d also paid for our dog when booking, then were charged for the dog again. The lodges themselves are unique and great, but the service wasn’t. I’d use a booking platform for some protection and accountability. Based on our direct booking, I don’t feel they can be trusted.

Our children were thrilled to sleep in the cabin bed at Tiny House "La Plume." The 15 square meters are put to great use, making a cozy space with tasteful decor. Breakfast was reasonably priced at €8 per person, and the local apple juice was especially delicious. We had a lovely stay. The reception area could use more care and upkeep, though, as it feels out of place beside the rest of the site and may leave a slightly negative first impression.
