The breakfast was a highlight, homemade, organic, and different each day, with cider and apple juice offered for free. The host is lovely and hilarious, and really knows how to look after guests. The old farm has been beautifully renovated into a guesthouse.

The setting was so peaceful, with fields all around and magnificent trees. We stayed five nights in the gypsy caravan, which was a real treat and had everything needed for two, or even three, people to be self-sufficient. Mr. and Mrs. Raflé were incredibly kind too.

I stayed next door rather than at the farm, in a very nice, well-equipped cottage. The view across the countryside reaches all the way to the horizon.
