The apartment they gave us was nothing like the photos. It was a tiny loft with no natural light, a barely working kitchen, a broken TV, and a door that wouldn't close properly. It was pathetic. I posted a bad review on Booking.com, and the owner apologized for our experience and said they would refund part of the reservation. I accepted the apology and deleted the review, but then we never heard from him again. He blocked me. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND BLACKMAILERS.

The apartment has good views of the castle, a good location, and good free parking, but the problems added up. The bathroom is between the two bedrooms and has no door or privacy. Both bedrooms had a horrible smell that stayed even after airing them out. The bedding and towels were old, and the mattresses were very old and misshapen. Some kitchenware was quite dirty, a bathroom cabinet drawer was broken, and the garden area was poorly maintained. Even basic things like toilet paper were missing. The photos gave a misleading impression, and the actual place was quite different and negative in comparison. A mix of good and bad points overall.

It has everything an apartment could need and is a charming, renovated place for 2-4 people. The area is central but quiet, a good spot to stay in Carcassonne. The shower has no screen, and the pillows could be more comfortable. Still, definitely recommended.

The walls were damp and there were ants inside the house. Terrible, I don't recommend it.
