I’m glad I stopped at this store. I first planned to buy a bottle of wine to thank the owner for helping me park, but the local wines and cheeses turned out to be such good value that I left with two bottles and a bunch of cheese. The wine from the Carcassonne region was delicious, and the cheese was among the best I tried in France. The owner is very friendly.

I came across this grocery shop thanks to the Carcassonne Wool and Drapery Museum. The manager is happy to show you the quality products, around 90% of them from nearby. Warm welcome and great shopkeepers.

We’re locals in Carcassonne and visited Les Flâneries de la Trivale for the first time last night. There were eight adults in our group, all keen on good food, and we ordered charcuterie and cheese platters. The presentation was impeccable, portions were generous, and the price was more than fair. At €12 a platter, we were all surprised by the quality for such an affordable price. We’ll happily come back to try more products. Congratulations, and best of luck! Emeline.
