CHEZ SOPHIE -Chambres d’hotes, Gite et Gite équestre

The meals were homemade and great value. We ordered dinner twice and ate really well. The beds were very comfortable, and the old building has plenty of charm. Horses were right next door, which made the stay feel even more special. We stopped for one night to break up a long journey and were pleasantly surprised by the pool and the warm welcome. We really don't understand the negative reviews about this guesthouse. Thanks, and see you soon! Baptiste and Julia.

Sophie’s is a peaceful spot out in the countryside. The old building has beautiful exposed beams, and the hosts were attentive. Breakfast was all homemade. Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay.

After a three-hour drive on a scorching day, the pool in the lovely park was such a treat. Sophie and Richard were attentive, and the guest table had a nice atmosphere, with good food and lovely people to meet. Breakfast was homemade, and the prices were very reasonable. The room and fresh sheets were clean. It’s an old stone building in a natural setting, so dust and spiders come with the surroundings. We loved discovering this beautiful bastide with its pool. If you’re after a warm, authentic welcome in a dream setting, don’t hesitate to go.

Sophie was so kind and flexible, and we got such a warm welcome. The fantastic breakfast even included lightly salted butter she’d bought especially for us Bretons. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the pool was a much-appreciated bonus. The setting is beautiful and full of history. Just know that two adorable, large dogs may come looking for cuddles. Thanks again for a lovely weekend.
