The grounds alone are lovely to wander through, from the pool to the lake, with little spots along the way that make you want to stop and take a breath. The new owners have added thoughtful touches, and Margo and Frank have made the place feel welcoming and warm while keeping everything spotless and beautifully looked after. It's a wonderful place to unplug and recharge. I can't wait to come back.

We had a great stay here with our motorhome. The pool was very welcome, and we enjoyed cycling along the nearby canal. The hospitality was excellent too. Thanks, Frank. Sorry we didn't get a chance to see you before we left.

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Such a perfect spot, quiet and peaceful, with lovely nature, a swimming pool, and all the services. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed at the end of June 2023, before the main season. Shady and sunnier pitches are available, with paved spots for campervans and grassy ones for tents and caravans. You can order bread and croissants the day before and have them brought to your pitch at 8:00, except Mondays. The sanitary facilities aren't modern, but they were clean, and there's a washer and dryer. There's a cafeteria and a small-menu restaurant, with pizza too, and the service was open. Prices were reasonable. The hosts were nice, the campsite was good, and the pool was great. The D107 runs alongside the site and can be noisy for people sensitive to that. We didn't find it disturbing. A place to remember and return to!

I first came here eight years ago and loved it. My latest visit was even better than I could have hoped. The Bivouac was comfortable and good value, and the owner was friendly and helpful. Absolutely excellent place to stay. Thank you, Godefroy.
