I really liked the open, airy feel of the building, especially the arcades, and the terrace has a lovely view. It’s generally quiet too. Even with the window open, I barely noticed the trains. The place was clean, organised and well kept, and the reception staff were kind and attentive. There’s a restaurant as well as a self-catering kitchen with an oven and good equipment. One small heads-up: they put a deposit hold on your payment card before you pay. Mine came back within four hours of checkout. The value for money is amazing. A couple of things could be better, though: the staircase was filthy, and tables sometimes sat uncleared for hours.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they can lend you fans for the rooms 👌. I also loved the electric blackout blinds, they really shut out every bit of light!

The location worked really well for me, with a half-hour walk to the cathedral for Mass at 8am, and it’s close to hiking trails and other activities. Staff were friendly. The room stayed quiet and dark, though it was a bit warm in November, which makes me wonder how it feels in summer. Breakfast tasted good, and parking is available for 8 euro per night.

The rooms are basic but do what you need, and I slept late without a problem. The train tracks are close, but the soundproofing is good and the rooms get completely dark in the morning. It’s a lovely, cosy hotel near the station, with a very good breakfast and a restaurant that has a nice view. The staff are kind too. I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooms are simple and perfectly adequate, and everything was very clean. For a budget hotel, it’s quite exceptional, especially with such friendly staff.
