The rooms were okay, a decent size, with good beds, standard decor and a nice Paris monument painting on one wall. But housekeeping was appalling: they didn’t change the towels or empty the bins, which is unacceptable. The air conditioning didn’t work either. I’d avoid the place unless you find it really cheap.
The rooms themselves were lovely and clean, and the Metro is just a five-minute walk away. The lobby has what looks like an abandoned former bar, and only one elevator was working. The rooms were really warm with no way to cool them, supposedly because it was winter season, and the window couldn’t be opened. The place was OK.
After a full day sightseeing, climbing the stairs to the seventh floor was no fun, especially with no air conditioning. The elevators were out of order. The room was perfectly fine, and most of the staff were too. Breakfast was very average for 14 EUR, and I’d expected it to be included in the hotel price. You can get a cheaper, more filling breakfast at nearby restaurants.
The room was lovely, and the chambermaids were lovely too. They deserve pleasant treatment, especially since the reception staff were rude to them as well as to guests. There were no drink facilities, and the lobby looked run down, like the hotel was half shut. It’s far out from the center.
My boyfriend and I spent a week here, and there were problems from the start: our room was on the fifth floor, but the elevators weren't working. The toilet leaked, and the shower doors were too small, so water covered the bathroom floor whenever we showered. The heat didn't work either. Breakfast wasn't worth the price, and we spotted a roach in the hallway. The staff were nice, but that's the only good thing I can say. I wouldn't stay here.
