We stayed four nights, and the room was clean, had everything we needed, and came with Wi-Fi. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety. The location is convenient if you're using public transportation. The downside was the lifts: one was very slow, so we could wait for minutes, while the other wasn't working. Still, it's a great place for the price.

Breakfast had breads, jams, butter, cereal, croissants, ham, cheese, juice, coffee, milk, eggs, and yogurt. There were enough seats for everyone, but yogurt could run out near the end of breakfast. The apartments aren't serviced daily, so you may have to ask reception for more shampoo or soap, though they do make the bed every day. There is one very slow lift, and we often took the stairs instead of waiting. The rooms are spacious, well lit, and have chairs for eating or studying, plus enough cabinet space for our two checked bags, two cabin bags, and two backpacks. Basic cutlery and cookware are provided, including a pot, pan, plates, bowl, knife, fork, and spoons. Wi-Fi worked well. The Metro station is 600 m away, with grocery stores and a market nearby. It felt safe at night: reception was always staffed, and you needed a key card for the building and a keyboard for floor access.

Breakfast was a mess. They seemed unprepared even though the hours were known, the coffee machine was often broken, and they ran out of plates, cutlery, butter, and just about everything. I was constantly looking for staff to get anything. The front desk was barely staffed and a nightmare to deal with. Our room was ridiculously tiny, with a kitchen crammed in and no glasses at all. Even the TV was smaller than my tablet. Way below average.

I booked the apartment for my partner and me, but was told breakfast was included for only one person. Croissants were also missing most of the time at breakfast. During our nine-night stay from February 11 to February 20, I was charged a 50 EUR deposit at check-in. Today I noticed another 50 EUR had been taken from my account without any notice.
