Tribe Paris Clichy

I worked from the hotel during the day, which gave the place a pleasantly lively buzz. The industrial look mixed with velvet is a nice touch, and the staff were genuinely helpful. The rooms were good too, though the pillows were crap. Peachy hotel.

The shower was the best part, and the room itself was generally okay, though a bit small. The front desk staff were great. Housekeeping missed several things: dirty glasses and plates were left behind, and sheets and towels weren't changed even though they said they would do so every three days. Lotion and tissues also stayed empty. There was no fridge, supposedly for eco reasons. We were scolded for not ordering food when we wanted to sit in the lobby, which doubles as the restaurant. Breakfast was hugely disappointing and overpriced.

I liked the location, with the metro nearby, good places to eat around it, and friendly staff. But my room was uncomfortably hot because the AC wasn't working. There was no fridge or working desk, the pillows were awful, and the shower pressure was weak. The rooftop bar was supposed to stay open until 11pm, but both times we went up at 10pm on the weekend it was shut, with the lights off and no bar operating. Disappointing experience, and I wouldn't return to TRIBE Clichy.

The breakfast buffet was especially good, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked that the hotel was economical and had the essentials. Shampoo and other shower amenities didn't seem to get replenished during regular cleaning unless you asked separately.
