The public rooms at Les Garennes are beautifully furnished, and the views stretch over the park toward Benodet harbour. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were consistently warm and professional. We stayed five nights in a comfortable, well-equipped double room with a spacious, modern bathroom. There’s a wide range of spa and wellness facilities, though we didn’t try them ourselves. We’d happily recommend Les Garennes and would return if we’re back in this part of Brittany.

The only drawback was that the room ran a bit hot. I would have liked to sleep with the window open, but mosquitoes made that difficult.

The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were nicely furnished. We visited in September and made good use of the pool and gardens. The hosts were so friendly and the service was terrific. Breakfast costs extra, but the continental buffet came with freshly squeezed orange juice. A magnificent stay at Chateau Les Garennes, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re nearby.

We had a bright, roomy bedroom overlooking the estuary, lawns, heated pool, and jacuzzi. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The whole hotel is superbly maintained and immaculate.

We love benodet, and les garennes especially, so we’ll be back next spring. It’s such a lovely place to stay, and the staff were fantastic, kind, and helpful. They made us feel completely at ease.
