The room gave us the best view of the abbey, and staying here felt worth the morning traffic noise. The hotel is right beside the Abbey, in what would once have been its nave, and Saturday market stalls set up next door. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a nice buffet with local cheeses and home-made jam. There’s a private garage for parking at extra cost. A lovely starting point for cycling around the area.

Just metres from the Abbey, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby, the location is central. Parking is enclosed and secure, and the hotel is excellent value. We had a great breakfast, especially the delicious cakes, and the friendly staff made us feel looked after. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Highly recommended!

There’s a lovely garden at the centre of this small hotel, right in town beside the Abbey. Our room was spacious, reception was friendly, and the Bistro across the square was great. Highly recommended!

The room and bed were both very good, and breakfast was good too. The people who run the hotel are kind and speak excellent English. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A very good place, and I’d recommend it. Some freshening up of the decor and a bit of refurbishment would make it even better.
