The room was really comfortable, and the walk-in shower was lovely. Breakfast was generous and high quality, and Patricia went out of her way to make sure everyone was happy. She tells fascinating stories and has a rare feel for how people think and feel. With her HR background, you might expect that empathy, but it’s still unusual to meet someone with so much of it. The garden was immaculate and the house had a stately, Great Gatsby sort of feel. Patricia encouraged guests to talk, so breakfast felt like a weekend catch-up with friends. We arrived as strangers and left feeling like friends, a phrase people use a lot, but it fit. If you appreciate quality and the finer things, Logis des Tourelles is a great choice.

Breakfast from Patricia was better than what you’d get at most cafés or restaurants, so don’t miss it. The rooms were spacious, well equipped, and comfortable, with plenty of useful storage for a longer stay. The immaculate property also has a lovely garden and a pool for warm days. On-site parking is very convenient, with its own entrance and space for the car. The location is hard to beat, with everything close by and parking handy for trips farther afield. Patricia takes care of every detail and is thorough and helpful. She seems to appear exactly when you need her, while giving you privacy the rest of the time. We’ve visited Cognac many times, but this was our first stay at Logis des Tourelles. It’ll be our first choice from now on. I can’t imagine a better option.

Patricia gave us such a warm, friendly welcome and was attentive throughout. The beautiful house sits in the historic center, just a short walk from the big Cognac houses. There’s a lovely garden with a pool too. Highly recommend it.

A delicious breakfast and a hostess who really goes out of her way made this an ideal place to recharge. The restoration is elegant and tasteful, and the splendid garden gives you a peaceful, country-like feel even though you’re right in the heart of Cognac. A great base for exploring the Charente region.
