Soko Lodges

I've been staying at the hotel for 8-9 years and have always felt safe travelling alone as a woman. A big thank you to Mohsen at reception, he's always so kind and patient. The Hotel is 15 minutes from St Tropez centre, with beach clubs and restaurants nearby at Marina Cogolin. Great ambiance, entertainment, and pool. I've had a great experience again. Thank you Marina Hotel Club, and special thanks to Mohsen!

I've stayed in campgrounds and travelled in third-world countries, and I think this was the worst hotel I've ever been to. Work booked it for me. I expected basic and clean, and my expectations were already low, but I was still disappointed. The room was filthy, with bugs everywhere. The bathroom sink backed up if I used it for more than 30 seconds, and there was black mold on the shower walls. That first night, I seriously thought about sleeping in my rental car. Thankfully, work managed to move me to the nearby Ibis. After this place, the Ibis felt like a five-star luxury resort.

We were there for three nights in April in a family room. The apartment seemed recently refurbished and was very clean. The two teenagers had a bedroom of their own, with twin beds and a separate bathroom. Reception service was great. We could borrow tennis and table tennis equipment and boule for free. The location was good too. What's not to like?

The receptionist was really lovely and friendly when we checked in, and breakfast was basic but good. One morning, the boiler made a horrible noise for a couple of minutes after I flushed the toilet. It stopped by itself, though I think it should be checked. We had a nice stay overall.
