The restaurant staff were a low point for me. Some cleared plates with a bad temper and were rude, as if guests were just in the way. That fit the feeling of a questionable 3-star place acting like something better. For a hotel an hour from the city centre, I expected at least decent service or basic comfort. Even the basics were frustrating. The blinds in the room wouldn’t wind down, there were no hotel slippers, and the outlets charged my phone so slowly that an old power bank might have done better. Then there was the room card. Every single day it stopped working because it had been removed from the reader system, so after coming back tired we had to go back to reception for another one. Ridiculous. I spent three nights at Novotel and still don't know whether to laugh or cry about how bad it was. The whole stay felt like a disaster, with terrible service and constant annoyances. It wasn't worth the rating, and I won't return. Once was more than enough. 😭

We were there to visit Disneyland, and with a little help from Bolt, getting transport between the hotel and Disneyland was easy. The room was really nice, and the staff were super helpful from arrival through checkout. We were missing shower gel on arrival day, but the staff topped it up on day two. That’s the only reason they “only” get 9 stars. Breakfast was good, and the hotel in general was clean and nice-looking. I’ll come back for another stay someday! Kind regards from Denmark!

The lobby and exterior looked lovely, and the reception staff were excellent. Our stay was otherwise lovely, but the dated rooms and the cleaning staff pestering us from 9:30am put a damper on it. They asked us to leave at 11:20am, even though my reservation listed checkout at 12pm.

The room soundproofing wasn't very good. We could hear nearby neighbors “playing with each other and jumping in the bed...” as our children put it 🤭🫣. The toilet's air exhaust could also use improvement, perhaps a fixed one. There are some thoughtful touches: the hallway water dispenser offers cold, sparkling and still water, and there are clear efforts to cut down on single-use plastic packaging. The windows are sturdy, with absolutely no mold, and the thick curtains can make daytime feel like night. The hotel is very clean, in an excellent location, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was consistent and really tasty, the children were very happy with it.

The rooms are well kept and clean, and the restaurant service was amazing when I had a Valentine's meal here with my wife and son. The boss was so welcoming and helpful. We'll definitely be back very soon.
