Belambra Clubs Résidence Colleville-sur-Mer - Omaha Beach

The restaurant has a beautiful view, and the beach is an easy walk away. We also liked the natural surroundings, the playground on site, and how well it worked for a stay with children. The staff were very friendly, though their English was limited, so a little basic French helps in Normandy. Breakfast and dinner were included and were very good, with plenty of choices for us and the girls, including food for infants. Our house was clean when we arrived, which was a pleasant surprise after reading some reviews, but it was dated and could use updates. It was very small. That was fine at first, then started to bother us towards the end of our week there. We booked fairly late and were right behind the central building, so the noise and view weren’t ideal. The beds were the main problem, though. By the end of the week, we both had back pain. Those views, the beautiful nature, and all that history made the trip special. If a basic place to stay is okay with you, we’d recommend it.

We found it a lovely base for touring the D-Day sights, with lots to see nearby, and it was cheap. The beach is clean and shallow. There’s a food truck most nights, and beer at the clubhouse in the evening wasn’t too expensive.

The location is amazing, and the man at reception was kind and very helpful. My experience with the two women there was the opposite: they were rude and very arrogant. The apartment was extremely filthy. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards, cobwebs everywhere, and what looked like mouse droppings or dead bugs among the utensils. Some seemed clean, others dirty. It badly needs a deep clean. Google reviews says I’m being biased and won’t publish this review... 🙄

Lucas provided excellent service and made our three-night stay very enjoyable. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the location was great.
